But he had to give it up because it was the right thing to do. He wanted other coaches to have opportunities to coach the team. He knew that the time had come too because he was old already. He was a great coach and he even lead his team to 8679 victories. He made his player the greatest. All of his players graduated and were taught a valuable lesson from this guy. This is what make Dean Smith special than any other coach. He is a coach that taught lessons that had to do with choosing whats right.
