Word of honor
“ I have been asked what I mean by ‘word of honor’. I will tell you: Place me behind prison walls- walls of stone ever so high, ever so thick, reaching ever so far into the ground- there is a possibility that in some way or another I might be able to escape; but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it. Can I get out of that circle? No, Never! I’d die first.”
By Karl G. Maesar
What this quote means is that if you make a promise you should always keep it because if you don’t do it that means that you are unworthiness. If you make a promise you got to be true to yourself or others because that is what making a promise means. Don't make a promise you can't keep because otherwise you're going to be the one that is going to regret making that promise. It is like crossing a line that somebody told you to promise not to cross. Well if you cross that line you just messed up and broke the promise.
